*10/3/09: Some Wormhole PVP Fun! : Ok guys first I would like to say good job, for our first PvP attempt. That was the most fun I've had in Eve so far. For those who weren't there or are visiting the site. We had a little practice PvP in wormhole space, while we are waiting to get some recruits. So I was tracking down wormholes, the first wormhole we came across didnt look so good. atleast like 6 BS and 1 BC and 4 or 5 unknowns, at the time there was only 5 of us. 2BC, 1 Cruiser, 2 Frigs, all tech 1.

So I started tracking down another wormhole, and finally found one, but by the time I did we were down to 3 of us, 1 bc, 1 cruiser, 1 frig. I pop in an start scanning and get a couple hits. I start scanning, and I finally pin it down to a harbinger and a combat recon. Then the harbinger was sitting infront of me, guess they won the scan down war. I was still in map scanning stuff, and a bit off guard, so I decided to jump cuz I was right next to wormhole, and my 2 corp mates were sitting outside of it.. We immediatly go back in and start pummeling the harbinger, and we get him into structure when he jumps through wormhole. At that point one of cruisers had to go afk so he went through too.

As we were waiting our frig pilot does normal scans, and tells me there is a POS being constructed. I'd say that makes sense because I was tracking them down around a moon. So then the harbinger jumps back in, and caught our frig pilot off guard, poppin him pretty quick. Tech 1 frigate not moving, kinda meat for the grinder, so he got popped, not a big loss tho we built them cheap for tackle. So I was there alone in my BC, pummeling the harbinger I was definatly winning but then 2 of his buddies popped in. Covert Ops and Recon ship. At that point, I was like meh I better go, Even though I had harbinger in structure, and I was still in armor, though dropping fast, as I was shield tanked.

So I went an repaired, and Rifter Pilot went and got a Cruiser he had in the system, and our other cruiser pilot came unafk. So we jump back in and start shooting the Harbinger again, and we make him jump. Then a few seconds later a cerb pops up, and I web him and quickly take him into structure, and he jumps. Then a Recon shows up, we take him down to structure and he jumps... You can see where this is going (Nowhere fast). So then a Raven jumps in, I dunno how many people are in this system but they keep coming in a nice line. Then we start pummeling the Raven, our cruiser is tanking him just fine, he eventually jumps too. I think there was 1 other ship I may have missed but you get the idea. So we were kind of just chilling deciding what to do. Some had to go soon, The suggestion of Ransoming came up afterwards, but there was only 3 of us, eventually they would organize and probably make us leave. Their corp more then twice the size, belonging to an alliance too. While we were in a bunch of cheap tech 1 ships. So I'd say this was a pretty successful first attempt at PvP. We were pretty organized for the most part, we probably overall lost less then them. I imagine the repairs they had to do outweighed the cheaply fitted rifter tackler. In the end id say its our win, but we were all near a wormhole, big safety net, but that was sort of the idea, since none of us have really PvP'd before, most of them have never even seen a wormhole. So again great job guys, next time we will bag a few kills :p
